Is everything fated and destined?

Some people say there's a balance to everything. For every life there's a death, for every death, there is a life. But the introduction of life that was not meant to be, that can invalidate the list, force Death to start anew.-Final Destination 2 (2003)

Final Destination 2 is a supernatural thriller, and also a sequell from Final Destination in 2000 and had another sequal in 2006 and 2009. The whole movie is about survivors from an event die slowly in freak accidents. I am not going to speak about this film further more, and if you want to know more, click the address: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Final_Destination_2

But I will be talking about the quote.

Is it true that everything is fated, or destined, that if you force a life that should not be, you will force a new death?

Maybe it is for the plot of the movie, to make it interesting. But, is there really a balance in everything, including life and death?

I believe that He got the whole world in His hand, and therefore, everything will happen upon His will.

But, can we change fate? Even if we can, does it have reverse effect on us?

Can we cheat death? Can we control the time of labour, or birth?

You can say that there are many science around us that may help us to prolong our lives. But, sometimes there are something beyond our control, and it happened supernaturally.

Our life's final destination is still death, no matter what. And this is undeniable. But, in the matter of time of death and way of death, the only person who knows is Him.
