Yes, yes, yes...... It is something like Form 1 Sejarah, right? Well, it's the TRUTH.
But, today, I'm not talking about history, but instead........ a thing called culture.
Yes, yes, yes...... You can either say that I am conservative, a nationist (since a person who discriminate a certain race is called racist), a person equal to Dr. Mahathir (or not)..............
But, it's a serious matter. A matter that concerns our lifestyle and our identity.
West: Mainly the United States
East: Japan, Taiwan, South Korea
From the West, we can see the hip-hop fashion had strongly influence how youngsters wear nowadays. (Not to offence!) As an example, the culture of sagging the pants had a great influence that it attacked Taiwan, Japan and Korea first before landing here.
Yes, it's not an offence to sag here, but it against the law when you wear in number of states in America. AMERICA, THE ORIGIN OF THIS CULTURE, HAS BANNED THIS CULTURE.
I did not say I ban this culture, in fact I can accept it. But in here, I would like to state that the hip-hop culture has really, really influenced people in here.
Forget the West, let's discuss our 'friends' in the East.
Well, there's actually a lot can be discussed, one of the obvious ones is kawaii. I did not say I don't like it, in fact I accept it as a normal thing. But, just for discussion. Actually, it haven't really have a great impact in here yet.
But, it had a significant sign of 'invading' Taiwanese & Singapore culture. In fact, Gwen Stefani used kawaii to give a brief mention for her music video Holloback Girl.
Kawaii culture sparks two professors different opinions, too.
Nobuyoshi Kurita, a sociology professor at Musashi University in Tokyo, has stated that "cute" is a "magic term" that encompasses everything that's acceptable and desirable in Japan.
Hiroto Murasawa, professor of beauty and culture at Osaka Shoin Women’s University asserts that cuteness is "a mentality that breeds non-assertion ... Individuals who choose to stand out get beaten down."
See, the second proffesor says that kawaii is childish. I did not say that.
The main objective of this post is..........
RESTORE OUR IDENTITY AS MALAYSIAN
We, Malaysians, have a unique identity. We don't need to copy or being influenced. In fact, we can create a culture from us. Yes, from us. Others can also catch up to our culture. But, the culture we create must not something from prison, or insulting intelligence. We create a culture, something such as multi-racial unity culture.
Malaysia acted as a intersection of culture, now let Malaysia turn to be a point of spreading good culture.

Breakthroughs...A breaking start of the New Year of 2009
The First post for this blog is.......
to breakthrough myself.
I know it's the third week of the year, and it's not Chinese New Year yet, but a late start for launching this blog won't be bad, right?
This blog=A online diary.
This equation is not quite right. After all, many people who write their feelings on blogs will be end up raised angers to those who mentioned in his/her blog.
But, who will listen if you write in an ordinary diary?
Yourself?
The diary? (People do write Dear Diary as their heading)
At least there are someone out there will know your grievances.
So, what's about Breakthrough?
Well, it's a online diary, but the main objective is to breakthrough myself.
(And I hope I do!)
